Lately, I have been thinking more often that a little bit more extensive texts should be written about the care and importance of the same for the overall well-being of women, and of people in general. I love make-up, but I’m under the impression that the reviews I write are more for advertising purposes, i.e. recommendations what to buy, and what not to, and do not contain so much valuable information like posts about care.
(Skin)care, my dear, is the key and the basis for everything. That’s a way to show how much you actually love and appreciate yourself. It’s not just using soap or cream, it’s the whole ritual where you are showing that you value yourself and show that both you and your skin deserve the best. It is a ritual that relaxes the body from everyday stress, which purifies your body and mind. That’s why I always agree with the statement that my body is my temple and that I respect it and maintain it both with the food I eat and with the all attention and care I dedicate to it.
Again, I have to note that there is no need to spend a million dollars on skincare. Whoever wants to please himself, only needs time and peace, and the products can be whatever, from dm or from Sephora or even from your own kitchen. Be a friend to yourself. Pamper yourself. Put face mask as you watch TV or learn for your exam. Soak your hair with coconut oil while you clean house or cook. Whenever you have the opportunity, make a small SPA atmosphere in your own home. Burn the candle, play some relaxed music, fill the tub, pour a glass of milk and a drop of oil into it. It will rejuvenate the skin, but it will primarily relax your brain.
We are all beings originated from the water. The water makes us, the water cleanses us, the water heals us. It deals with impurity, but also takes off worry and stress. It relaxes the muscles after a busy day or arouses the mind at dawn. Hydrate your body whenever you can. Make yourself surrounded by water bottles because we often forget about water intake during the day. Not only will it contribute to your metabolism, but it will also beat you wrinkles. Many women do not realize that part of the wrinkles that can be prevented and avoided is caused by insufficient hydration. Very fast, the minimum effort turns into a habit. And for the greater enjoyment, you can add a slice of lemon, strawberries, or mint leaves.
Especially I am addressing younger girls who read my blog because they are at the best age for creating healthy habits. Skincare and care, in general, are not just creams, that’s food, it’s all the sugars you’ve eaten, all the salads, all the lying on the couch or all the time in nature. You choose what you do for yourself, so choose smartly.
For the next post, I’m preparing an interesting story about one important segment of skin care, and until then enjoy and learn to relax. Tell me if you find texts like these useful. What are your rituals of (self)care?
